This is the part of barbering people don’t talk about. 💈
You can bend over backwards for a client.
Wake up early.
Stay late.
Invest in new services.
Do everything you can to take care of them.
And one day… they just stop coming.
That one client hurt because I cared.
But I had to learn something:
Sometimes you’ll lose clients and never fully know why.
That doesn’t mean you stop showing up.
That doesn’t mean you stop caring.
It just means you keep growing, keep serving, and make room for the clients who are still meant for your chair. 💯

Is it the location… or the barber? 🤔💈
For walk-ins, location matters.
You can’t always charge the same price in every area and expect the same response.
But once a barber builds a real reputation?
Location starts to matter less.
There are barbers in lower-income areas charging premium prices because people trust their work.
And there are barbers in high-income areas charging less because the demand isn’t there.
So the real question is…
Are you charging based on your location?
Or based on the value you’ve actually built?
