1) Be honest- You hair history includes what you’ve done and also what you have neglected prior to your appointment
2) Be realistic- Sometimes you may not be able to get EXACTLY what what you desire on your first appointment especially if chemicals are involved in any way;past, present, or future
3) Be open minded. Being resistant to change may prevent you from having your next best look! Trying new things and exploring options just might surprise you in the best way!

I started with Paul Mitchell The School 7 years ago and at that time it was exactly what I needed. I was on a rampage fueled by ambition trying to build for my family and secure our future. I have lost a lot within this time period, but I have gained more than I could ever imagine. I have traveled and worked along side of some of the greatest educators in my industry. I have learned so much about my craft. I have taught countless Core clases, paced infinite steps on the Clinic classroom, spear headed bountiful Specialty classes, Zoom meetings, and even written a book! I have facilitated learning the best way I know how. I have learned how to accept individuals for their faults, their inexperience, their lack of understanding and was able to receive the same in return. I have learned so much about others, that it’s difficult to put into words but more importantly, I learned more about myself. I read a quote the other day and it said “Teaching is not about the income, but the outcome.” This quote solidifies the last 7 years of my experience as an Instructor of Cosmetology. My outcome has proved successful, technically skilled Stylist who has the knowledge and skill set to perform greatly in this industry and for that I am so grateful. If you know me, you know it does not stop here! This is a new chapter and I am turning the page. I am going to put into play all the things I have learned and my investment in teaching into something more personal. What an adventure! #
