Wow! Cheers to 10 years as a massage therapist! 🙌🏼
💖 So glad that I have been able to help so many people (approximately 2000+) in my career.
💆🏽‍♀️This practice is ever evolving, I’ve learned so much over the years and I’m happy to be a part of this healing community.
🪬 From mastering the basics to exploring more advanced techniques, obtaining my massage instructor and CE provider license, and currently studying Rapid NFR & SMRT.
👣 I’ve enjoyed incorporating Ashiatsu & Cupping to my practice for the past couple of years and excited to attend mastery workshops on both subjects this month.
🧐 Reflecting on this journey, I am filled with gratitude for my amazing clients who have trusted me with their well-being and awesome students for keeping me forever researching.
✨Each session is a learning experience, and it’s incredibly rewarding to witness the positive impact of my work.
📝 Looking ahead, I am excited about continuing my education and expanding my skill set.
🌊 My goal is to provide the best possible care and to stay informed about the latest advancements in massage therapy.
👏🏼 Here’s to many more years of healing and growth! 🎉

👣 Thank you Alyssa
I had so much fun taking the DeepFeet Bar Therapy Ashi-Thai™ class.

Excited to learn more Barefoot massage modalities and offer exclusively or incorporate during sessions with clients.

Ashi-Thai™ blends compressive techniques with passive stretches, offering a combination of traditional Thai massage and Ashiatsu DeepFeet Bar Therapy®.

Ashi-Thai™ elevates the experience from a mat on the floor to a massage table. Also known as “lazy man’s yoga,” this technique allows clients to embrace a state of relaxation while the therapist skillfully guides them through a series of stretches and yoga-like poses. This technique is performed with the client fully clothed and without any oils or creams, providing a restorative experience.

Can’t wait for my next class and to see y’all on my table

Ashiatsu is a barefoot massage technique. If you're in need of deep tissue work, but don’t enjoy the discomfort that comes with pointy elbows and thumbs, then Ashiatsu is the treatment for you! Gravity enables Ashiatsu therapists to deliver up to 3x the pressure than with traditional hands-on massage.

BAYLOR UNIVERSITY PUBLISHES LARGEST STUDY EVER ON MASSAGE THERAPY USE

July 2024

"Many people receive massage therapy and for many reasons. But according to a new study – the largest and most comprehensive ever conducted on the subject – the prevalence of visits to massage therapists is higher than one might have imagined and the reasons may be surprising."

“What our study shows is that it’s probably not helpful any longer to label massage as an ‘alternative’ therapy, with all of the marginality that the term conveys.”

“Licensed massage therapists ought to be respected as mainstream practitioners, whose profession provides a therapeutic approach not just to address pain and functional challenges but to foster wellness and overall well-being, physical and emotional.

Everyone can benefit from working with a skilled massage therapist. They’re the hidden gems in the healthcare system.” - Jeff Levin, Ph.D., M.P.H., University Professor of Epidemiology and Population Health. (Robert Rogers/Baylor University)
