So here’s one of my favorite little eye makeup shortcuts when I want my lashes to look defined without reaching for mascara:

✨ Dab a tiny amount of Aquaphor onto your fingertips and gently press them together.

✨ Lightly tap the product onto the tips of your natural lashes.

✨ Work it through until your lashes have a soft, clean definition.

That’s it.

No mascara.
No complicated technique.
Just a little moisture and definition when you’re in a pinch.

And if you naturally have blonde or brunette lashes and want a little more visibility without relying on mascara every day, a lash tint can be a beautiful way to maximize what you already have.

For those who prefer more natural ingredient options, nourishing oils such as jojoba, grapeseed, or coconut oil can also be incorporated into a simple beauty routine. Just be mindful around the eyes and choose products appropriate for that area.

Have you ever had a beauty professional point out something about your appearance that you never thought twice about before?

Apparently… I’ve been accidentally trending. 😂

For over a year, I’ve been wearing what everyone is now calling “ghost lashes”…

And I honestly had no idea it was a thing.

Then I started seeing red carpet photos of celebrities skipping mascara, and suddenly I’m thinking…

“Wait… I’ve been doing that!” 😅

Then it happened again.

After contributing my commentary to Canvas8’s ‘Bare Nails Are In’ report, I learned that my simple, natural nails were also considered a trend.

Again…

I had no clue.

Truthfully, neither of these were intentional.

This has simply been my beauty style for years.

I love beauty that’s uncomplicated.

It saves me time.

It saves me money.

And it lets me spend more energy on the things that matter most to me.

Now don’t get me wrong…

I absolutely admire glamorous makeup, artistic nail designs, and the incredible talent behind them.

They’re beautiful.

They just don’t happen to fit my personality or lifestyle.

And maybe that’s the lesson.

You don’t have to keep up with every trend to feel beautiful.

Sometimes the most timeless beauty choice is the one that feels the most like you.
