I’ve offered extensions for years… so why did I decide to add K-Tips? 👀

Because not every client needs or is the perfect candidate for a full row.

I wanted another option that gave me even more freedom to customize exactly where my clients need hair.

K-Tips allow me to add fullness in smaller, more strategic areas, fill in those thinner sides around the face, create more movement, or add density without necessarily adding a ton of length.

And for some clients? My favorite option is actually combining K-Tips with a row to create an even more customized result.

Fall hair colors I can’t stop thinking about 🤍

My Pinterest board is currently FULL of rich brunettes, dimensional blondes, warm honey tones + all the expensive-looking color I want to see this fall.

The biggest theme for me? Dimension is back. Not always going darker, just adding enough depth and contrast to make the lighter pieces POP.

Scared of lowlights because you don’t want to feel darker? 👀

Here’s the trick: your lowlight doesn’t have to be as dark as your natural color.

For her, I kept the lowlight lighter than her natural base. That little bit of depth gives the blonde more contrast, while also helping her natural color appear softer + lighter.

So yes, we added lowlights… and she’s still VERY blonde

Over a year and a half between color appointments… so we had some catching up to do 🤍

We went from mostly natural to a full, bright blonde while still keeping enough dimension for her to go 6+ months between touch ups.

Full modern blonding, lots of intentional brightness, and the prettiest creamy finish.

We brightened and softened her color, then added 2 rows of 18” CURLY extensions for length + fullness while still working with her natural texture.

And because she loves wearing her hair in braids, I customized her install by splitting the weft in the back so she can separate her hair into two sections without a weft running straight across the middle.
