I have not really absorbed this yet but come 12/31/18 Grasshopper Salon will be closing their doors for good. I can’t begin to express the gratitude I have for for making such a legendary salon to work in. These walls have witnessed the journey of so many iconic artists. This weeks inspiration board Goes out to the men and women who went against the grain and found beauty in their natural gray hair. I know I loose money in this situation but about a year ago a client came to me so frustrated and self conscious about seeing her gray roots that she constantly would cover her hair with hats so I made the suggestion to let them go free. She told me that she could NEVER "I will look way to old" well a few appointments and discussions later she decided it was time and we started the process. After a few haircuts and color processes she is finally there and getting more compliments then ever. Although I lost a color client in this scenario sometimes my job isn't about money but just being honest with people. Anyways I only wanted to remind men and women that gray hair is beautiful too! &women
