A man booked a consultation with me yesterday for instant locking and a full head loc reattachment. The consultation went well, he thanked me—and then blocked me instead of paying the fee. This has never happened to me before. Last year I won a chargeback for a new client that didn’t want to pay.
I take my craft seriously. I’m a licensed professional, not a hobbyist, and my reviews reflect the quality I provide. My business is how I feed my family. Service providers are getting scammed too. It’s not ok.
Moving forward, all new clients will be required to leave a deposit. You are more than welcome to come by or FaceTime me to make sure you verify I am who I say I am. I want you to feel safe knowing your deposit is going to a real Stylist. To my loyal clients—I love you and appreciate you. You are the reason I continue to pour my heart into what I do.
