It's user friendly and maintenance free. Just fill the tub with water, set your desired temperature on the temperature controller and start plunging. The water stays crystal clear for 6+ months with the included filtering system and chlorine water purification.

These cold plunge builds are bomb proof. All seams are sealed with non-toxic marine grade epoxy weld. Then, the floor and walls are lined in a non-toxic olympic pool grade epoxy paint. Epoxy is the tried and true method for waterproofing chest freezers for the purpose of cold plunging (much stronger and longer lasting than silicon caulk or other methods out there). I have over 3 years experience making these chest freezer conversions and I’ve done all the experimentation and testing to create the most bomb proof product that covers all the bases.

What’s included:

• The unit is built from a brand new 15-cu ft Frigidaire Chest Freezer (Model ). Internal dimensions in inches are 44.5 length x 21.5 wide x 26 deep. External dimensions are 56 length x 30 wide x 35 high.

• An outdoor weather proof cover is provided with zip off top. This prevents dust from appearing and protects the cold plunge over time.

• A temperature control unit is included which automatically controls the temperature of the water.

• Purchase includes a pump and filter assembly for filtering the water. It consists of a 1200 gph Danner pump and a 10” x 2.5 inch filter – this combo is the gold standard for filtering cold plunges. I also include a 3D printed custom base and prefilter which catches larger debris before entering the filter – allowing the filter to last longer. • Purchase includes a water sanitation setup: Included is a chlorine tablet float dispenser with a 6 month supply of chlorine tablets. The amount of chlorine required to sanitize this small amount of water is minimal, meaning that you hardly smell or feel the chlorine in the water. By using just one chlorine tablet a month and, when combined with the provided water filtration system, the water will stay crystal clear for at least 6 months. If chlorine is not preferred, this setup easily converts to ozone sanitation.

• A 7 day programmable on/off switch is included which controls when everything is turned on and off. This allows you to have it scheduled to only run the freezer and pump/filter at night – which is much more energy efficient. Then, during the day, the freezer and pump are turned off, allowing you to have peace of mind that no electricity is going to the freezer or pump when you plunge during the day.

• The whole unit is reinforced underneath with a heavy duty undergirder. It is mounted on heavy duty furniture sliders (or it can be mounted on lock-able heavy duty caster wheels for 50 dollars more).

• A step stool and removable drain plug (allowing for easy water changes) are included.

• A user manual with step by step instructions on how to program the temperature controller and instructions for maintaining the plunge is provided.
