Hi friends!
My name is Madison. I am originally from Oregon, and this is my first time moving out of state.
I have been doing hair for 8 years, and I specialize in anything color-related. I especially geek out over blondes, copper and red heads, and lived-in looks. I am inspired by 70s styled fringe and layers, and sun-kissed, dimensional color. When I’m not in the salon, I’m at the gym, thrifting, or at the beach.
I love meeting new people, and I can’t wait to have you in my chair!

Read that again.
Imposter syndrome loves to get in the way of a good masterpiece. But look at the details, look at the effort, and look at the clients walking out of your chair with a smile. The talent is there, you just need to start believing it.
Signs you’re doing better than your inner critic lets you believe:
1. You focus on the one "flaw" instead of the overall masterpiece. You can create a flawless blend or a stunning transformation, but your eyes immediately zoom in on the one tiny thing you think you could have done better.
2. You brush off compliments. When a client or a teammate tells you your work looks incredible, your automatic response is to downplay it ("Oh, it was just the lighting" or "It was an easy canvas").
3. You constantly compare your Day 1 to someone else’s Day 10. You’re scrolling through social media comparing your real, everyday behind-the-chair moments to someone else’s highly edited highlight reel.
4. Overthinking after they leave. You find yourself overanalyzing a client's reaction or replaying the appointment in your head, wondering if they actually liked it.
The truth? Perfection is an illusion, but your growth is real. If you’re overthinking, it just means you care deeply about your craft. Take a deep breath, trust your hands, and let yourself see what everyone else sees.
