Boundaries aren't about controlling other people.

They're about clearly communicating what you will and won't accept, and what you'll do if those boundaries continue to be crossed.

Setting boundaries isn't selfish. It's an act of self-respect that protects your time, energy, and peace of mind.

Unfortunately, many of us were never taught how to communicate healthy boundaries without guilt.

And for my beauty professionals... this applies to your business, too.

Why a client would choose to not come back.
The only reason I'm sharing this client testimonial is because I think every beauty professional can learn from it.

This isn't about whether you use hard wax, soft wax, or sugaring.

It's about the experience you create and how your client feels from the moment they walk in until they leave.

Listen carefully to what she says.

These are the thoughts many clients have but would never tell you. Instead, they quietly decide not to come back.

Use this as an opportunity to evaluate your own technique, communication, consultation, and overall client experience.

Are you rushing? Are you educating your clients? Are you making them feel comfortable and cared for? Do you take the time to provide aftercare introductions?

Understanding why someone decided never to return can teach you more than any compliment ever will.

Breakouts after waxing?
If your clients regularly complain about bumps, breakouts, or irritation after waxing, it may be time to add high frequency to your treatment protocol.
