Let's be real, they need a larger shade range of mineral sunscreen out there. But in the meantime here are some of my favorites, and why!

☀️ Supergoop! Glowscreen* Hydrates with hyaluronic acid and niacinamide

☀️ Epicuren X-Treme Cream Propolis* has healing/inflammatory properties

☀️ Tizo Ultra Zinc is 100% mineral and is sheer and light weight & leaves a beautiful demi-matte finish with out the crazy white cast

☀️ Image Skincare PREVENTION+ Clear Solar Gel is rad because it’s clear gel, but it’s 100% chemical sunscreen

* Not 100% mineral sunscreen

♥️ Personal note: while I prefer non-chemical, mineral sunscreen to chemical because of its impact on the environment and ocean life, here are some reasons to use a chemical sunscreen over a mineral, or in conjunction with:
1. It blends into the skin and is diverse for all skin tones
2. It is waterproof where mineral is water - resistant. Mineral must be reapplied more often.
