Even for selfies, it’s recommended to wear matte formulas especially if you have oily prone skin. Choose a non-SPF matte foundation to avoid a ghost-like complexion.

Faking the sunburnt look with blush is the latest makeup trend. The look comes down to correct placement and applying the right shades based on your natural skin tone. Choose shades that look similar to how the sun would cause your natural skin tone to flush. Place the blush high up on the apples of the cheeks and down the bridge of the nose to create a fresh, youthful flush.

The order in which concealer and foundation is applied still remains debatable because it depends on so many factors and personal preferences. It also comes down to how accurately your foundation and concealer shades match because the greater the inaccuracy the more work is involved in correcting it, which can lead to overapplying your products and leaving unnatural looking coverage.
