your thyroid called. she’s tired of sending SOS.
your thyroid doesn’t work in isolation. protein, micronutrients, blood sugar, sleep, stress, gut health, infections + mitochondrial function can all play a role in how supported your thyroid feels.
before you blame your thyroid, zoom out and look at the whole picture.
eat your selenium. take your zinc. prioritize your protein. get some sleep. manage your stress. test, don’t guess.
your thyroid will thank you.

there’s something deeply human about choosing what gets permanently written on our bodies.
sometimes it’s art. sometimes it’s a memory. sometimes it marks who we loved, what we survived, what we’re releasing, or who we’re becoming.
and sometimes the placement feels just as intentional as the tattoo itself.
our bodies hold stories. tattoos can be one way we choose to tell them. 🖤
what does the placement of your favorite tattoo mean to you?

slow mornings > rushed mornings
a reminder that your morning doesn’t have to start with notifications, cortisol + a race against the clock.
take the everything shower. steep the tea. go outside. make the bed. read a few pages. give yourself a little time to exist before the world starts asking things of you.
romanticize the slower season

autumn is a season of slowing down, warming up + coming back to the little rituals that make us feel good 🍂
softer light. more books. warm spices. long walks outside. less scrolling. more rest.
fertility support doesn’t always have to look like doing more. sometimes it looks like creating a body + environment that feels nourished, supported, and safe.

we were never meant to live this far removed from the things that make us human.
sunlight on our skin. food that came from the earth. bare feet. belly laughs. long hugs. deep rest. people who know us. moving our bodies because it feels good. moments quiet enough to hear ourselves think.
sometimes “wellness” isn’t about adding another supplement, protocol, or morning routine.
sometimes it’s about returning to what our bodies have been asking for all along.

your cycle has seasons too 🍂
the luteal phase is your inner autumn a natural invitation to slow down, turn inward, nourish deeply, and make a little more room for rest.
think warm meals, cozy nights, slow-burning carbs, magnesium-rich foods, gentle movement, baths, books + anything that makes life feel a little softer.
you don’t have to feel the same every week of the month. work with your body, not against it.

the older i get, the less i care about a perfectly styled home and the more i want one that feels alive.
music playing. windows open. something cooking. books left where they were read. pets underfoot. people gathered around the table.
a little messy. a little loud. full of life.
that’s the kind of home i want.

fall is officially here 🍂 and your cycle may notice the change, too.
our hormones don’t exist in a vacuum. changes in daylight, vitamin d, melatonin, serotonin, sleep, immune activity, and inflammation can all influence how we feel throughout the menstrual cycle.
so if your energy feels different, your pms feels a little louder, or your cycle seems to shift with the seasons, there may be more going on than you think.
your body is constantly responding to its environment. seasonal living isn’t just cozy soups and earlier bedtimes. your biology is paying attention, too.

being “boring” is one of the best things i’ve done for my health.
same meals on rotation.
a bedtime.
strength training.
reading instead of scrolling.
saying no when i’m depleted.
choosing plans based on how i want to feel tomorrow.
the older i get, the less interested i am in constantly needing something new, exciting, or extreme.
because the things that actually move the needle for your health are usually painfully unsexy:
consistency. sleep. protein. movement. boundaries. repetition.
your 20s, 30s + 40s don’t need to be one long attempt to keep up.
protect your energy. build muscle. eat real food. go to bed. read the book. cancel the plans when you need to.
make boring cool again.

your body doesn’t just need more water. it needs minerals.
magnesium. potassium. sodium. calcium. zinc. trace minerals. these tiny nutrients are involved in everything from hydration and energy production to muscle function, blood sugar regulation, sleep + nervous system health.
and while electrolyte powders can absolutely have a place, food is still one of my favorite ways to replenish your mineral stores.
bananas + avocado for potassium
pumpkin seeds + cacao for magnesium
seafood for zinc + selenium
beans + leafy greens for magnesium + potassium
coconut water for potassium
kiwi for potassium + vitamin c
eat your minerals. your body knows what to do with them.
