Color correction that had me pulling out every trick I know… challenge accepted.

Hairstylists aren’t magicians, but we definitely try to push the boundaries as far as the hair will allow. This one had me in full problem-solving mode for a minute. Previous highlights, faded red fashion shades, permanent color, and at-home box color all living in the same head of hair.

The goal was to soften her overall color and start transitioning into a lower-maintenance look with gray blending.

At the end of the day, it came back to the basics: color theory, slow and low, patience, and trusting the process. I used k18 and throughout the entire service to keep the hair as healthy as possible while working through the correction.
