If I could go back and give my younger self some advice as a makeup artist, these would be my top 5 lessons—things I had to learn the hard way! 🎨✨

1️⃣ Your skills matter, but client experience matters MORE. How you make your clients feel is just as important as the makeup you apply.
2️⃣ Invest in the right products from the start. Quality tools and products will save you time, money, and frustration.
3️⃣ Networking is EVERYTHING. Building relationships will open more doors than just posting your work online.
4️⃣ Price with confidence. If you don’t value your work, neither will your clients. Charge what you’re worth!
5️⃣ Not every client is for you—and that’s okay. Setting boundaries and knowing your ideal client will bring more joy to your work.

Taking a moment in for how far I’ve come. I think we are all so quick to judge ourselves for not being exactly where we thought or wanted to be. Wanting more than what’s in front of me. In reality, the universe always gives us exactly what we need. As I wake up everyday and grind to the next level, I am intentionally reminding myself for all the beauty I’ve had come in to my life to help me expand beyond. My beautiful brides always remind me how lucky I am to do what I do and bring me the most confidence and courage to continue to create. I’m so excited for the 2025 wedding season. I have so many lovely clients that have found me and cannot wait to bring my magic to one of the most important days you will experience.
