The cup of coffee tips over … the entire cup right on my MAC Air laptop computer.

(If you know me… I’m an entrepreneur soooo I used my MAC… EVERYDAY)

It’s like life.

The past me would have immediately gone into major heart palpitations, probably had some curse words and definitely would have been crying.

Sheer panic and anxiety would have set into my fear world.

In this moment where I am today along the self love journey… I learned something.

It’s not worth the pain in my body to react as I used to.

Of coarse I had the computer up and an amazing patron quickly handed me napkins and still the computer doesn’t turn on…

All of the thoughts went through my mind…

“I need this computer so bad” “How am I going to pay for a new one?” “I don’t have the money” “I need in NOW.” “This is a disaster”...

Yup all still there.

This is that choice part…

I can react to them… orrrrrrr

I can accept that they are there.

I can accept that the universe has presented me with a choice.

There is a reason for everything and it is my true belief at this point that what is supposed to work out will work out for the greater good of all.

I got a free coffee refill and packed my stuff to create a solution.

The choice is to waste time being upset… when it’s done.

Solution thoughts always move fear.

Turns out I had an old plan on my phone and with my new plan I can have an IPAD with key board without my bill going up!

It’s not a computer but its a quick replacement and I’m good for a bit until I get the new computer!

So as this Valentine’s Day creeks up on us.

Let’s treat ourselves with some love!!

Whatever it is! Beach day, a good book, meet a friend or go to the spa!

Inner Beauty?

I seriously did NOT feel like I had a choice.

How do I choose me? What does that even mean?

For me it was a compilation of being slapped around quite a bit….

Technically I have never been very good at doing things the easy way….

Soooo being that I am a ‘visual doer’ when it comes to impact work…

Experience.
Is the way to learning and development of new creations.

I found fear at homelessness and near death.

I found happiness there to when I knew what grateful meant.

I found sadness in relationships, friendships and death.

I also found acceptance and love in those times that helped me find more about choosing me.

I found anger in abuse, trash and the mess on our planet.

In that anger I found my passion.

I wouldn’t take a second back of any moment.

I’m definitely not saying for someone to go out and experience being homeless.

Whatever the experiences are that we individually go through mold us.

This is the choice.

The choice to be who you want to be.

Without letting those experiences define our lives.

For me learning to find something positive out of any situation became a game…

That became the ‘Self Love’ game!

Here’s an example!

The hot coffee gets delivered at my breakfast table and I have prepared it perfectly!

This day is supposed to be about love.

Togetherness.

So what is LOVE?

In my experience love is different for everyone.

Each person has a path that has given us an individual lesson in love.

To so many there is joy in heart cards, candy at school, to hold the possibility of love and a reason to date your spouse.

There are also so many that don’t have a great relationship with love and find valentines to be a very hard time of commercial selling and promotions.

So no matter where you are this Valentine’s Day …

It’s a day.

It’s an opportunity.

To choose…

Choose Love.

The most important love any of us can experience is that of self.

The ultimate love story is our own with ourselves…

And like most love stories it’s a journey.

I know my biggest question on my quest to find ME was…

No matter how low you get.

NOTHING is worse than playing out the same patterns over and over again.

I learned its not worth not trying something... anything...

Even if it seems totally off the wall crazy.

I learned I have control over my choices and my thoughts.

I choose my reality.

Today my pain equals the beliefs I knew about myself.

I don’t believe those things.

So Today I am pain free.

The mission now is to support the choice, to support the love in all our hearts 💞

The physical pain went for over 7 years so badly I was in the hospital.

The craziest thing about all the pain is that the only thing that really cured it in the end ... was being able to change the perception.

The way I was looking at the situation.

The situation in my case was my pain.

In my world at the time my pain equaled hospital.

I never could have imagined that pain that bad wouldn’t equal ER.

There were many times I couldn’t talk or walk it was so bad.

I came to a point where I realized I have options and choices and no matter how scary, it couldn’t be any worse than what I had already been through.

What is Inner Beauty?

I definitely didn’t know that inner beauty was a thing. Or that it mattered.

I wasn’t equaling my feelings, emotions and thoughts to be what made me beautiful.

And at the same time the thought of an insecurity made it equal to not being beautiful.

And what I realized is that only because I believed my thought to be true, is what made it true.

My personal opinion was the truth and that was it.

And that is CRAP.

The insight was that my perceptions and beliefs DO NOT equal a judgement.

Someone could tell me I’m beautiful but because my perceptions and beliefs tell me I’m not I can’t believe the person that told me I’m beautiful.

This was me holding me back from my happiness.
