It's fun to be artsy-fartsy with a consumable product that is good for your skin! Scrubby soaps are fun to create! But why should you purchase homemade soap?

I love to experiment with different exfoliants…and my skin loves it. Unlike store bought varieties, handmade soap contains glycerin. Many commercial and industrial brands don’t start with natural oils which consist of molecules of fatty acids and glycerin. Rather they start directly with the fatty acids OR they remove the glycerin in order to make a harder and longer lasting bar of soap. But my skin likes the glycerin, as it attracts moisture…and your skin will too.
