My honest review of the viral Unbrush as a hair stylist of 8 years, with extremely thick wavy hair. I know I’m a little late to Unbrush, and that’s because I originally wasn’t gonna jump on board lol but I needed a new brush so decided to give it a try.
Pros:
•Less painful than other brushes
•detangles more easily on dry hair than my other brushes
•Gentler on wet hair than even all of the wet brushes I’ve used, however I don’t feel like it fully detangles wet hair (which actually may be a good thing for people with fragile bleached hair)
•Lightweight- good for ergonomics and won’t be too heavy to where it’s ripping through hair
•Can also be used for heat styling
Cons:
•Lightweight- a pro AND a con because it’s so lightweight to the point where I worry about it potentially being crushed. Would be extra careful packing it in a suitcase, careful where I store it, etc
