- reminder to please pre book your holiday appointments! My last day of work this year is Dec 23, and i won’t be back in the salon until Jan 9!
- next, I’ve been getting quiet a few inquires recently on color corrections, specifically blonde cards. Both of which I don’t do very often, but enjoy when I occasionally get them. The reasons on why I don’t do them very often is because 1.) It takes a lot of time, this photo for instance took me just about 7 hours to complete. That is essentially a full work day- which hinders me on taking any other clients for the rest of the day.. 2.) i charge hourly. Yes, from start to finish which includes all the costs of product, time, hair cuts, treatments, blow dry & style. Not many clients love hearing that so they typically opt out of doing it all in one day, and gradually start their blonding process. 3.) I can never guarantee results. Especially with existing box dye on hair. This process isn’t cheap or easy but this final product of my recent blonde card made me so happy and I was able to give my client her dream hair. This maintenance is every 6 weeks, no longer than that if you’re scheduling for a bleach and tone. The root cannot be longer than 2 inches of regrowth.
