Hi! I’m Amanda ✨🌙

Owner of Thorne Artistry for 15 years this month! That doesn’t even seem possible. For those that are new or just stopping by, I wanted to say hi and tell you a little about the face behind the account 🫶🏼

✨ I made the jump from radio DJ to business owner/hair and makeup artist and never looked back. I’ve now done around 700 weddings and still love it 🙌🏼

✨ A few qualities that I’ve realized make me unique is that I can see the smallest of details that most people wouldn’t notice. I’m also intensely curious about people and love hearing your story and what you love. I’m able to read a room and pick up on people’s energy and what’s needed, and I’m a good problem solver.

✨ Some of my favorites in life: slow mornings with my husband and kids, our two cats, all animals, travel, live music, strong coffee, time in nature, yoga, swimming, catching up with friends who are uplifting, a really good book, exploring, and as many roadtrips as possible. I also really love an epic thrift find. I once found a Ferragamo bracelet for $10 🤩

✨ I’m originally from the Midwest, but always knew I wanted to see as much of the world as possible. I’ve lived in Australia, Seattle, San Francisco, and so happy I ended up in San Diego. I’ve traveled to 24 countries, and have so many more I want to see.

✨ Random fun fact- I was once bitten by a wombat (I still have the scar) 😆
