I know this isn’t brand new but I also know Im not the only one who sees those ads CONSTANTLY popping up on your IG feed!! Well, I finally gave in. 🤷‍♀️ I wanted to see if the hype was real. I especially wanted to see if the online color-matching would be accurate because I’ve never had luck with those type of quizzes in the past. “You don’t look like a Mom!” Man, I can’t even tell you how many times I’ve heard that. Now I know that statement is intended as a compliment, so I always appreciate and accept it as so. But honestly guys, what does that even mean?! I mean think about it. Society has painted a picture that Moms are these asexual beings that were put on this earth only to reproduce, do laundry, make lunches, clean house, attend PTA meetings, Pinterest the s**t out of life, nurture and care for the family, all while rocking a Mom Bob & sporting a mini van?? (although I am guilty of the mini van thing 🤣🤣). Let’s face facts though, pretty sure our sexuality is what turned us into Mothers in the first place. So why is there this stigma that the sexiness dies once you become a Mother?? Moms, I am here to remind you to not fall into that trap. Why? Because I have let myself fall into that dark space time and time again. And I am here to fight it and no longer let society and myself convince me of this BS. I say we band together and remind each other as often as we can MOMS... YOU ARE WORTHY. YOU ARE FIERCE. YOU ARE STRONG. AND MAMA, YOU SEXY AF!! 😄🔥🔥🔥________________________________________________

to the I did when I first started this page. A time where my heart was more broken than I could put into words and makeup was the only outlet, expression, and relief I could find. What great reminder that I made it out of that dark time and was able to use my hurt to fuel my creativity and passion. For those of you that are feeling alone or hurting this Valentines season... I promise you, your are loved and more worthy than you could ever know. You are not alone. I know it feels like the pain won’t ever end, but it will. The light, the love, the happiness that feels so out of reach, will come again. Just hold on and take it one day at a time.
