Important Service Charge Increase

We want to let you know about our upcoming annual service charge increase. Effective August 01, 2024, the price increase on all services will be an additional $10.00.

All appointments already scheduled will be honored at the current service price. However, all new appointments scheduled after July 31, 2024 will reflect the new price increase.

We greatly appreciate your business and hope you understand our need to implement this annual policy.

We will be closed Monday and Tuesday 1/22 and 1/23 for a special event at the PGA Farmers Insurance Open. Don’t forget to book your appointments for the remainder of next week they will go fast. See you at Torrey!

We are open for Business!

Dear Hugo The Barber and Provisions Community,

We are now offering all of our services in the barbershop. This means you can now book an appointment for any of our highly desired Haircuts, Shaves and Combinations of services.

To help us maintain a safe environment we ask that you:

- wear a face mask or covering at all times upon entering the barbershop. Please ensure it covers your nose and mouth.

- wash your hands upon entering and exiting the barbershop.

If there is no seating available in our waiting area (two people max) please let us know you have arrived and wait outside in the patio area. We ask that only the client receiving a service enters the barbershop. Guest are ask to wait outside in the patio.

If you are interested in any products, do not grab the items. Our barbers will hand them to you at the end of your service.
DO NOT attend your appointment if you:

- Have tested positive for COVID-19 or are awaiting results for a COVID-19 test or have received instructions from a health provider to quarantine.
- Have a temperature of 100.4 or if you have other symptoms of COVID-19, such as a cough or difficulties breathing.

Mandated Closure
December 7 - 27, 2020

Dear Hugo The Barber and Provisions community,

On Thursday, December 3, 2020, Governor Gavin Newsom issued a new stay-at-home order to protect the health and well-being of all Californians and to continue facilitating a consistent approach across the state to slow the spread of COVID-19.

This new order prohibits private gatherings of any size and closes sector operations except for critical infrastructure and retail.

When a Regional Stay at Home Order is triggered because ICU capacity has dropped below 15%, salons, barber shops and personal care services (esthetics, manicuring and electrology) must close.

The order would be in effect for 3 weeks. All current appointments will be canceled effective immediately. We ask that you please reschedule your service (online) to any day after December 28, 2020.

We will email and post on our page for any future closure dates due to COVD-19.

Facial Services Now Available!

Dear Hugo The Barber and Provisions Community,

We greatly appreciate your patience and loyalty in these unsettling times. We are back in business and are ready to get you looking good. Please note that there have been a few changes and guidelines the state of California has had us apply to our business in order to properly serve you.
1. We will only be taking services by online appointment.
2. All services are to be performed outdoors. Because of this our barbershop has been temporarily relocated to the East side of the building. Please see attached aerial image of the building for reference.
3. Because our installations have been temporarily relocated we cannot wash hair out before or after services. We apologize for the inconvenience.

We are opening June 1, 2020!

Dear Hugo The Barber and Provisions Community,

We are excited and grateful to announce that we will be reopening with modifications starting Monday, June 1, 2020. As you may have already heard, health regulations prohibit any facial service at this time. This means we will not be able to provide any facial service until further notice. Unfortunately, we will have to cancel any beard service portion from any current appointments.

If you currently have a facial service schedule, we will only provide the hair service portion of your appointment. If you only have a facial service scheduled, we will contact you prior to canceling your appointment in the instance that you would like to keep your scheduled time for a hair service.

To help us maintain a safe environment we ask that you:

- DO NOT attend your appointment if you:
Have tested positive for COVID-19 or are awaiting results for a COVID-19 test or have received instructions from a health provider to quarantine.

Have a temperature of 100.4 or are if you have other symptoms of COVID-19, such as a cough or difficulties breathing.

- Wear a face mask or covering at all times upon entering the barbershop. Please ensure it covers your nose and mouth.

- Do not arrive earlier than 5 minutes to your scheduled appointment. If there is no seating available in our waiting area (two people max) please let us know you have arrived and wait outside in the patio area.

- Only the client receiving a service is allowed in the barbershop. No guest allowed.

- Please wash your hands upon entering and exiting the barbershop.

- If you are interested in any products, do not grab the items. Our barbers will hand them to you at the end of your service.
