Whether you’re a mother by birth, an older sister helping raise your siblings, an auntie guiding your nieces and nephews, or simply someone who leads with kindness and love — you are a mother in spirit, and you deserve to be celebrated. Continue being kind, nurturing, strong, and loving. The world needs more of that energy. 💐

And to my mother — you are a wonderful woman, and I miss you every single day. I still dwell on the memories we shared. I’m going through a really difficult time, and not a single day passes where I don’t think about calling you. So many times I pick up the phone before remembering you’re no longer here physically. But I still believe you’re listening, and it’s your love and energy that continue to keep me going.

I know I have a calling to answer because I have children looking up to me too, and I can’t allow myself to give up, even when it feels hard. But I want you to know how deeply I appreciate the way you raised me — to be strong, kind, gracious, caring, and resilient. Everything good in me started with you.
