🫶🏻Three simple tips for how to keep your hair color vibrant in between appointments:

1. Wash With Cool Water
Super hot water can wash away essential oils and moisture, leaving your hair dry and frizzy. Also, it opens the cuticle and causes color to fade faster. Cool water on the other hand can seal in moisture, keeping your hair shiny and color vibrant. 

2. Use Dry Shampoo
Going a few extra days really helps keep your color fresher, longer.

3. Shampoo & Condition With Products for “Color-Treated” Hair
Your everyday grocery store shampoo & conditioner can contain harsh detergents which can diminish hair color. Products specifically for color-treated hair are most likely sulfate free. Sulfate free products are highly recommended to help maintaining your color.  

Leave the salon confident knowing you’ll return looking just as good as when you left. Not to mention how proud your hairstylist will be 😉

For 13 years I wore all black as my work uniform.. I also worked 60 hour weeks. So all of my 20s I wore black all the time. I’m so over it that whenever I wear black clothes it triggers anxiety and I don’t feel relaxed. I find myself so drawn to light colors and tones that aren’t pigmented. Idk if this is weird but 🤷🏻‍♀️.
