Hey all !!!
It’s with a heavy heart we announce the closure of this chapter 🥹🙏🏽💞
We are eternally grateful for everyone’s support the last five years and have made the hard decision to close our beautiful shop down 🌿
It wasn’t just a shop to us, it was a labor of love, a space for healing and wellness, and a testimony of our journey 🌿💞
This decision was difficult to make but weighing it all out, with full time school & full time parenting , I was getting pulled too many directions and ultimately had to made a change.
Thank you to everyone for their support and we know this isn’t the *end * of NG Apothecary but the end of Church of Herbalism 🌿💞🙏🏽
We hope to see you here this week maybe to say bye and you can all take advantage of stocking up on some products & herbal products 🥹🙏🏽💞

There is NO SUCH THING as a ‘DETOX herb’. There are herbs that:
✨help Support detox organs
✨help remove parasites
✨and help support the immune system
but there is no such thing as an herb that works as a detoxifier 🌿
Instead, you want to actually support your detoxification organs, because your body is already detoxifying for you day in and day out🌿✨💞
so next time, please give your Liver a lot of love 💞 without it, our heart would’ve been destroyed by toxins long ago 🌿✨🕊️🙏🏽

Hey friends ! We will be hosting our 3rd Bible & Tea Hour 🥹🕊️✨
I just wanted to thank everybody for showing up the last two months and how beautiful it has really been to connect with fellow Sisters in Christ 🥹🦜
The last time as we were reading the word, a flock of parrots flew right above us, and that’s what I knew. God was just so joyful to have us in community reading his word 🥹
This Bible study will be more directed this time:
I want to bring it back to Genesis , explore Jesus’s greatest law and commandment, and really read into what does it mean to forgive and to love your neighbor✨
We will explore the sower parable, that which defiles parable, will explore the word as it refers to being of the same root ✨🕊️
We will have tea, snacks , and coffee this time hehe ☺️✨
Please RSVP to have a good headcount for snacks :) thank you have a blessed day !

I guess you can say we have Mullein on deck 😆💕🕊️🌿✨

Hair potion is back in stock 😌✨ the rest of the herbal oils are being pressed out as I post this 😌✨🌿

Everyone’s nervous system is so shot rn ✨
Listen and listen well.
The enemy wants you tired. Depleted. And in a sympathetic state.
When you are in your fight or flight, it’s very easy to go off on your community, family, and to not be present.
But I rebuke that for you 🥹💕
One of the most nourishing herbs that have moved me through my own trauma has been Passiflora Incarnata 🌿
She anecdotally been used to help with lack of sleep, anxiety, depression— but scientifically she’s a GABA reuptake inhibitor .
What does that mean ?
We have neurons who communicate with signals, and those signals are called Neurotransmitters.
GABA is inhibitory , meaning it helps calm the neurons 😌✨🌿💕
When you are in your relaxed parasympathetic state, you are able to reach homeostasis , which is the state which your body initiates its own repair mechanisms .
We are able to connect with source, connect with nature, and be in love ✨🌿💕😌
But remember, herbs are tools given to us by creator to help us through moments, and the inner work still needs to be done 😌🌿✨

I loved learning that this flower is named after the Passion Of Christ🥹✨ the symbolism runs deeps because through Jesus we reach Christ Consciousness, but this herb helps us connect there too 😌🌿✨💕
