My husband sat in his recliner chair for years. I had always wanted to just cuddle up on a love seat. Recently, my wish came true when we changed the room and swapped the couches. I had a lot to do with our remodel as the project manager and general contractor and made a lot of decisions on what products to choose having an eye for decorating and what colors and things go with what.

After 2 months, we finally brought the furniture back into the house. We have a niche where we put a piece of furniture with shelves and glass doors and another piece of furniture on top to house our t.v., but when we brought them back in, the new baseboard was a lot thicker and the furniture no longer fit.

Now, we need to either have shelving and cabinets built into the wall space or put the t.v. on the other wall and rearrange couches and furniture. Putting a t.v. on the open wall also opened up new possibilities of eventually getting a larger one (every man’s dream, right???)

I really did not want to divide the family room/kitchen area with a couch facing a wall merely to put a t.v. there. On the other hand, my husband was inspired to rearrange furniture to see if it could work and it did.

So, it was decided that we now were going to create a new family room living space. When it was all done and he sat on the couch enjoying watching his t.v., he said, “Well… at least I know you did it for me because it makes me happy.”

10 drops citronella EO
5 drops lemongrass EO
5 drops Rosemary EO
5 drops thyme EO

Directions:
Fill each bottle with 1/3 insect repellent concentrate, add drops of EO’s, add 1 tsp. witch hazel extract, fill rest of each bottle with water 💦 Give bottle gentle shake back and forth. My top 7 things for a lasting relationship...

1.) Show appreciation daily!
👉say something nice like “Thank you for going to work today”, “You’re so talented”, “You’re a great father”
👉do something nice- make a special dinner or dessert, write a nice note or buy a card, give a kiss 😘 or hug starting and ending the day.

2.) Meet needs of partner & make yours known. It is with this exchange that love can flow with good feelings. What you do for one another are expressions that show you care about the other person’s well being & happiness. Bonus: when needs are met, partners tend to not feel taken for granted.

3.). Create relationships outside the relationship. It is healthy to have relationships with other people. It is very fulfilling to have variety and different friends in fulfilling your assortment of needs.
