I’m as ready as I’m going to be. Tomorrow is my 1st day in the new space. Still some tweaking to be done, but I think I can work in it.

Out with the old, in with the new! I’m all out of Hillcrest, and starting in Mission Valley on Tuesday Feb 21st.
Bear Hair by Chuck is now located inside Phenix Salon Suites at Mission Valley Mall. Turn left at the waterfall when you enter the front door, I’m in Room 104.

I got the keys on Wednesday, and the new Salon is starting to come together already.
In just 2 weeks Bear Hair by Chuck will be in its new location in Mission Valley. So if your appointment is on the 21st or after, it will be at the new location.
Located at the Phenix Salon Suites, (between Spencer’s and the Post Office).
So excited for this new space!
Thank you so much to Jarrod, my Rock/Love of my life. We were there till 11:30pm last night painting this accent wall, and hanging shelves. I couldn’t do it without you.

BEAR HAIR BY CHUCK IS OPEN! As San Diego shifts into the “purple tier” of the COVID-19 tier system, hair salons are allowed to stay OPEN.

I will continue to provide EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE to my clients while following COVID-19 sanitation and disinfection guidelines. Check out my standards at: bearhairbychuck.com/covid19-updates.html (https://www.bearhairbychuck.com/covid19-updates.html) .

I AM DOING BEARD TRIMS & BEARD COLOR!
When it is time to remove your mask for your beard trim, I will add a face shield over my mask until your trim is complete. Unless we are actively trimming your beard, YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO WEAR A MASK AT ALL TIMES WHILE IN THE SALON. Don’t worry, I’ll be wearing mine too! Additionally, I will continue the practice of checking temperatures, screening for symptoms, and providing hand sanitizer at entry.

THE LOBBY REMAINS CLOSED and the door to the salon is now locked at all times. This change is for your safety. Please remain in your car upon arrival to the salon and TEXT ME TO LET ME KNOW YOU’VE ARRIVED. New disinfection protocols require that I have a minimum of 15-minutes between clients for cleaning and sanitation. I promise I’ll let you in when it’s time for your appointment!

When possible, PLEASE COME TO YOUR APPOINTMENT WITH CLEAN HAIR ---I am not shampooing clients at this time. This change is to limit unnecessary exposure and potential droplet spread.

Finally allowed to reopen on Monday!
Masks required.
Let’s see how long it lasts this time. I’m guessing about 2 weeks with Labor Day weekend next week, we’ll see if everyone is as stupid as they were on the 4th of July, and get us all shut down again!
Please Wear a Mask and Wash your hands if you must goto the beaches and party all weekend. All of our lives depend on it!
This is not over yet, so stop pretending that it is.
