From the bottom of our heart, we would like to say THANK YOU to every person who has ever worked at Velvet, every client who sat in our chairs and trusted us over the years. Your loyalty, trust, and love does not go unnoticed. This dream would have not been possible without each and every one of you. 🙏🏻🖤 Our life has changed over the last 8 years and so our visions and dreams have changed. I’m excited to embark on this new journey and would love to see you all there and continue to create magic.

With a heavy but hopeful heart we at Velvet Hair Lounge have decided to not renew our lease and officially close our doors after 8 beautiful years on Newport Ave. We will remain open until about Mid-March, so book with your favorite stylist and come share the space with us one last time.

It’s not a goodbye forever just a see ya later! We welcome you to join a few of us at our new space, Sacred Hair Studio ❤️‍🔥 in Mission Valley, which is only 11 minutes away! Follow your fellow stylist to see where they’re headed next. Thank you all for the continued love and support over the years and we hope to see you all again soon. 🙏🏻
