Hi my name is Sohaila, I am a professional Middle Eastern Dancer, Choreographer and Instructor. Keeping in shape is very important to me, not only for my body, but my enthusiasm for life and the overall benefits movement has to offer. I am very much into keeping in shape and find it extremely meaningful not only for me but to my students to keep them in the best possible shape they could be in. I decided to take my existing "belly dance classes" into a new and more effective path adding aerobics into my repertoire of dance classes. Even though I have a DVD called "Bellyrobics" I believe my new program is even better. I would like to introduce you to "NewVo". I thought that being in a society where getting in shape is always on our minds, and always looking for something new, what fun to have a new type of aerobics class. "NewVo" is structured in a way that fuses traditional Middle Eastern moves and steps while adding popular aerobic moves into the mix! Exercise and energy with Middle Eastern flair!
“NewVo” brings together a driven multicultural body of music with distinct dance moves from different cultures such as Middle Eastern, African, Australian, Indian, Hawaiian, Tropical and
Spanish to name just a few. Beginning with an innovative stretch, “NewVo” moves quickly into aerobics and multicultural dance moves, finishing off with another great stretch and cool down with eclectic music. People of all aerobic levels can be challenged without concern for injury. This class will leave you with more energy than when you started! This is a great way to get students and clients to try something new yet familiar to them. I hope that you are intrigued by “NewVo” and that you give it a try!
