Most dreams occur during REM sleep, so the more continuous time you spend in REM phases, the more likely you are to have dreams. Melatonin promotes deeper sleep with more time in REM phases. For this same reason, vivid dreams and nightmares are a known side-effect associated with melatonin. However, melatonin isn’t why you have good or bad dreams, it’s just why you have more dreams, generally!

Hi! 👋 I’m Hana, co-founder + CEO of Veriant, and one half of our two-person team. I’ve had an entrepreneurial spirit ever since I was selling gumballs to my classmates out of my locker in second grade. Since then, I’ve spent my entire career developing beauty, personal care, and wellness products for companies of every size and in every area of the industry. But, it has always been frustrating to watch brands push barely-distinguishable products and preach self-care while creating insecurities. So, I learned how to make every type of product for every type of customer so I could be ⁠capable of creating a company that solves REAL-life problems sustainably. And that's what Veriant is. 😊⁠

One of the great joys of working in the beauty industry is just how many *extremely* talented women I've had the immense fortune to work with - chemists, content creators, copywriters, graphic designers, photographers, marketers, customer experience reps, purchasers and sourcing experts, packaging designers, hairstylists, nail artists, aestheticians... the list goes on and on.
