Aroota by GBCO
Aroota by GBCO aims to revolutionize personal care by developing Ayurvedic products with no more than 10 non-toxic ingredients.
Our mission is to provide pure and simple personal care solutions for healthy skin through minimalism and Ayurveda for women We started this beauty brand, out of our personal frustration. Our founder Ruchita dealt with infertility issues in the past and during that time, she wanted to buy sustainable, 100% natural, and eco-friendly herbal products which is not wrapped into kraft paper. She wanted to feel premium and luxury, but at the same time making decisions which are affordable and transparent for her skin. She felt there is total disconnect when it comes 100% natural, sustainable, and herbal products. That's why she developed Green-Beauty Co – an effective, sustainable, upcycled and circular beauty brand with fun and planet-loving products. She creates effective, natural, vegan and cruelty-free bath and body care products using food industry's by-products and unwanted waste which she learned from her mom and grandma. We believe - sustainability shouldn't be just a term evolve around packaging —it should be a thoughtful process from ingredients selection, production to distribution. That's why, we’re here to boost healthy and sustainable beauty glow on your skin and our planet. In addition, adding two cents of knowledge of our Indian/ayurvedic ingredients in our formulas makes our products totally unique.

Topical magnesium for stress relief: where to apply magnesium butter, and why it matters 🤍
You finally sit down at night. Shoulders up by your ears. Jaw tight. Legs aching.
Magnesium butter is a gentle way to bring magnesium into your evening through the skin, especially if oral supplements don't sit well with you.
Where to apply it:
🦶 Soles of the feet, to ground
🤍 Chest and neck, to slow down
🌿 Calves, for tired legs
✨ Shoulders, for held tension
In Ayurveda, slow self-massage is called abhyanga, one of the simplest daily rituals for calming vata.
Tip: apply it 30 minutes before bed. If you feel a slight tingle, start on your feet.
💬 Comment BUTTER and I'll send you our full Magnesium Butter guide.

Ground Yourself
In Ayurveda, the feet are more than just where your day ends—they’re a place to slow down, nourish, and reconnect.
A little magnesium body butter massaged into your feet before bed can become a simple nightly ritual: warm the butter between your palms, gently massage your soles, take a few deep breaths, and let the day soften.
From skin care to self-care. From application to ritual. 🌿

It's kinda chic to use magnesium topically ✨🧴
Swipe to see why we're obsessed →
rub it in, don't swallow it
call it Abhyanga, not "self-care"
ancient beat modern to the punch, again
let skin do what pills used to
turn deficiency into ritual
kinda chic. also just... correct.
Magnesium has been in the Ayurvedic playbook forever — we just gave it a body butter. 🤍
Which one are you starting with: Calm, Restore, or Ground?
Something new has been quietly taking shape at Aroota—and today, we’re finally ready to share it with you. 🤍
We’re so excited to introduce our Magnesium Body Soak + Magnesium Body Butter, created as a simple evening ritual for women navigating the changes of midlife.
Because midlife isn’t just about changes in your skin.
It can change the way your body feels, the way you unwind at night, and the way you experience your evenings. Sometimes you’re exhausted, but slowing down doesn’t come easily. And that’s when we started thinking beyond skincare.
At Aroota, we’ve always believed that beauty and wellness can live within the same ritual.
Inspired by Ayurveda’s emphasis on slowing down, grounding, and creating intentional daily rituals, we wanted to create something that encourages you to pause at the end of the day and reconnect with your body.
But before bringing this ritual online, we took it to our retail partners first.
And the response was incredibly encouraging.
The numbers were promising. The feedback was meaningful. And most importantly, it gave us the confidence to say:
Okay, it’s time to share this with our Aroota community.
✨ The Aroota Magnesium Ritual is here.
Start with a warm Magnesium Body Soak—a moment to step away from the day.
Then follow with our rich Magnesium Body Butter, massaging it into your skin slowly and intentionally.
No complicated routine.
No adding more to your day.
Just a few minutes to make your evening feel a little more intentional.
Because sometimes, taking care of yourself isn’t about doing more.
It’s about learning how to slow down.
We created this ritual for the woman who is constantly giving, doing, and caring for everyone else—and who deserves a few moments that are entirely her own.
Welcome to the newest Aroota ritual. 🌙
Our Magnesium Body Soak + Body Butter are now available online.
Discover the ritual and make your evenings yours.

We know. It's been quiet over here. 🤍
Not because we ran out of things to say — but because we've been heads-down since Shoppe Object, and honestly, some things need to be built before they're announced.
If you've been following us for a while, you know Aroota didn't start as a business plan. It started with a simple frustration: why is it so hard to find bath products that are actually clean, actually beautiful, and don't cost the earth — literally or financially? So we started making them ourselves. Handcrafted in California. 10 ingredients or less. Microplastic-free, palm-free, cow-milk and shea-based. No shortcuts, no filler stories.
Almost three years in, and we've learned that growth doesn't always look like posting every day. Sometimes it looks like sourcing. Sampling. Re-making a batch four times because the third one wasn't right. Sitting with buyers at Shoppe Object and hearing what you actually want next.
So — three big things are coming. We're not ready to share all three yet (we're superstitious like that 🤞), but here's the first:
For the first time ever, we're bringing you something for the festive season. ✨
This one is personal. So many of us spend the festive months giving — planning, hosting, wrapping, showing up for everyone — and somewhere in there our own rituals quietly disappear. The long shower. The slow morning. The five minutes that belong only to you.
We as women need rituals. Not the performative kind — the small, grounding, this-is-mine kind. And this season, we've got you covered.
Mark your calendar: August 30th, 2026. That's when we reveal the first thing. 🗓️
Until then — tell us in the comments: what's the one ritual you protect no matter how busy things get? We're reading every single one. 👇
Follow along so you don't miss the drop. Two more surprises after this one. 🤍
We talk about change all the time.
In our 30s and 40s, we expect it. We prepare for it. We embrace it.
We change our diets because our bodies ask for something different. We change our workouts because what worked in our 20s no longer feels right. We become more intentional with our time, our relationships, and how we care for ourselves.
And yet, when our skin begins to change, we often ignore it.
We push through the dryness, the dullness, the sensitivity, the loss of glow. We blame ourselves for looking tired or wonder why our skincare routine suddenly isn't working anymore. We expect our skin to stay the same while everything else in our lives evolves.
But your skin isn't failing you. It's evolving with you.
Your skin is a reflection of every season you've lived through—late nights, motherhood, career shifts, hormonal changes, moments of joy, moments of stress, and the wisdom that comes with growing older.
What if we stopped treating changing skin as a problem to solve and started seeing it as something to support?
Skincare isn't just about looking younger. It's about understanding what your skin needs today and honoring the woman you've become.
Because every season of womanhood deserves care that evolves with it.

Before "bakuchiol" was a skincare buzzword, it had another name — one your grandmother would've recognized instantly. 🌿
Babchi.
The plant modern serums now market as a "clinically proven retinol alternative" is the same seed Ayurveda has used for skin health for centuries — pressed into oil, worked into pastes, part of a tradition that never needed a lab study to know it worked.
So when people ask why we built Supercharge around bakuchiol instead of a synthetic retinol alternative — this is why. It's not a trend ingredient to us. It's a formula our grandmothers would recognize, just refined.
The full story — including how babchi oil and bakuchiol actually relate, and how to bring it into your routine — is on our Wellness Journal. Link in bio 🌿
Your skin doesn’t need more trends. It needs the right routine. 🌿✨
Let Aroota guide you, and let Ayurveda do the rest.

Your breakouts have a pattern. Your redness has a season 🌞
🍀In Ayurveda, summer = Pitta season — and for hormonal skin, that means inflammation, sensitivity, and that mid-cycle flare-up you’ve come to dread.
The Glow Vitamin C Serum was formulated with Amla - a Pitta-balancing superstar that brightens, protects, and works with your body, not against it. No hormone-disrupting chemicals. Ever.
🌱Under 10 ingredients. Made in small batches. Rooted in Ayurveda.

Here are the updated founder-voice captions with that backstory woven in:
Option 1 — The Full Story
For a year and a half, I showed up every single weekend.
Rain. Heat. Early mornings. Farmers markets across the Bay Area — every weekend, without fail.
Not just to sell. But to listen.
I handed our Glow Serum to real women. Watched their faces. Asked questions. Took notes.
100 women tried it over those 78 weekends.
89 of them came back glowing.
That's not a lab stat. That's not a paid study. That's me, my table, and a community that trusted me enough to try something their grandmother probably already knew.
Amla. Kewra, Ayurveda. Small batch. Made in San Jose.
