Offering personalized chiropractic care, massage therapy, and Active Release Techniques (ART) to relieve pain, boost mobility, and support your wellness journey.
adjusting him or hosting a comedy show, unclear??
that tight spot you’ve had for years? it was never going to leave from massage alone.
active release technique, or ART, is one of the most requested things I do and most people have never heard of it.
here’s the difference. a regular massage works on the muscle while you stay passive. with ART, I put tension on the exact spot that’s restricted while YOU move through the motion. your muscular system and your nervous system are working together in real time, and that’s what breaks up the adhesions that regular massage keeps missing.
your muscle was never retrained, just rubbed.
book through the link in my bio, or tell me where your spot is in the comments.
There is a small muscle on the front outside of your hip called the TFL, and nobody talks about it.
It feeds into the IT band, which runs down and attaches just below your knee, so when the TFL is overworked your knee is where you feel it.
It usually gets overworked because your glute med stopped pulling its weight.
Press the front outside of your hip, and if that spot is sharp while the knee feels fine to touch, you have been chasing the pain in the wrong place.
Save this for the next time your knee acts up.
Which knee bothers you more?
People think I forget about them once they leave the office.
I do not.
My goal with this small studio is to create a community.
I catch myself throughout the day wondering if your plantar fasciitis is improving.
If your shoulder is moving better.
If your back pain has eased up after your last adjustment.
Chiropractic care is not just about what happens during your appointment.
I am constantly thinking about how your body is responding, how your posture is changing, and what we can do to get you lasting relief.
That is how I approach treating neck pain, back pain, shoulder tension, and mobility issues.
Not just as quick fixes, but as something we work through together over time.
If you have been dealing with chronic pain or stiffness and want care that is actually personalized, this is where it starts.
Most people think chiropractic care is just the crack. That is only a small part of what is actually happening.
At Petoskey Chiro every chiropractic adjustment is paired with movement and muscle work to create real, lasting relief.
This includes neck adjustments, upper back adjustments, spinal alignment work, and guided movements that help your body relearn proper positioning.
This approach is used to help with neck pain relief, upper back pain, shoulder tension, poor posture from desk work, and limited mobility or stiffness.
The goal is not just temporary relief. It is improving how your body moves every day so the pain does not keep coming back.
If you are dealing with chronic neck pain, back pain, or posture related tension, this is where you start.

Real patient case study: chronic sciatica pain and limited mobility.
This patient came to our clinic after struggling with long-term sciatica, two knee replacements, and ongoing mobility issues. Previous treatments had not provided lasting relief, and daily activities had become increasingly difficult.
After a detailed evaluation, I focused on identifying the root cause of the sciatic nerve irritation and created a treatment plan centered on gentle chiropractic care, mobility restoration, and patient education.
Using approaches like SOT blocks and longer, more controlled treatments, we were able to reduce pain, restore movement, and help the patient gradually return to a more active lifestyle.
Today, they’ve gone from barely being able to lie on the treatment table to coming in for maintenance care with significantly improved mobility and quality of life.
If you’re dealing with persistent sciatica, lower back pain, or mobility issues, addressing the underlying cause can make a huge difference.
