A favorite design of mine! I love an open spaced yet semi-structured design like this because it’s a nice balance that looks super elegant.

Crossed henna’ed hands… because when it comes to posing ideas, I’m not very creative 😅

What is it about the circular mandala design that makes it a classical design? According to research, “the circle embodies all of the attributes that attract us: it is a safe, gentle, pleasant, graceful, dreamy, and even beautiful shape that evokes calmness, peacefulness, and relaxation.”

💯Truth. I can’t begin to count the number of times my negative self-talk almost led to me quitting henna. So many times I thought, ‘you’ll never achieve the level of that artist so why not quit while you’re ahead?’ Thankfully though, I’ve embraced the above bc it really is true; humans aren’t meant to reach perfection. But they are meant to be tenacious and keep going…
