Welcome to our first family Christmas tree 🌲

— yesterday: the tree is up, the cocoa and marshmallows are ready, and this year's decorating is 90% done.

Yesterday, I was like a child, especially at night when the tree lights filled the living room, admiring it. This is my first such large tree.

Yesterday I spent five hours decorating the stairs. Today I'm filming an advertising integration, then going for a massage to relieve my back fatigue, and tomorrow (I hope I'll have time to edit it) I'll post a video of this beauty in progress 😌

My husband is late today, so I have a solo evening for the first time in a while.

I filmed it before my trip to Las Vegas, on a rainy day.

My husband asked me to make something for work the day before: they have a tradition of bringing homemade sweets for the holidays. I baked a banana cake (the same gluten-free one, the recipe is above).

We then unpacked the coffee machine, brewed some coffee, and tried the first bite. It turned out incredibly aromatic and homemade.

And the decorations... just from what we had on hand—ribbon, baby's breath, and a little love 🤎
