Your skin isn't just keeping you together (though that's pretty important 😊). It's also the communication device between massage and your muscles.
When I work with your skin during a session, I'm sending messages to your nervous system: relax, let go, calm down. Your skin connects directly to the fascia around your muscles, so when I move that top layer with slow, sustained stretching, everything beneath it gets the memo.
This is myofascial work. It's working WITH your tissues, not against them.

February is Heart Health Month, and I’ve been thinking a lot about how we take care of the one muscle that never takes a day off.
Exercise gets your heart pumping. Massage helps lower stress, relax muscles, and even support healthy blood pressure. It’s not just about feeling good in the moment. It’s about helping your whole body function better.
