Stylist/Educator Sonya Henry is a San Jose native in the biz for a span of 20 years, she has offered professional salon services from cutting, coloring, styling, and makeup design to the public and is passionate about her clientele. Throughout her career she has also found another spark that has kept her passionate in her career and that is Education, she caught the Education bug in 1995 when she
became an educator for Tressa Inc. and Trevor Sorbie, which has led her to the stages as well as behind the stage at IBS ( international Beauty Show Long Beach, CA) and the West Coast Spring Show (San Jose, CA three consecutive years in a row working for Paul Mitchell ) in 2003 is where she found her second calling for education and worked as an Educator for Paul Mitchell working at the Paul Mitchell School in San Francisco for Four years, she pursues independent education to newly licensed or even seasoned stylist who want to learn new cutting coloring and makeup techniques, there is so much knowledge she wants to share and give back to other stylist in the industry to stay current and inspired, in 2011 she was asked to share two hair cutting techniques for the Academy for the Salon professional a Redken School (Saratoga, CA)that are now solidified in their core cutting curriculum. There is no other joy than inspiration from beauty art and sharing knowledge that I'm so lucky to live my passion and dream through my work, I'm humbled by the loyalty, love, and support from my clients/friends!
