Kids For Wigs is an amazing organization that I’m proud to work alongside of as part of my healthcare Hair buisness “Hairway To Heaven”. These beautiful kids are inspirations to us all 👼 Donating your healthy hair to a sick children in their healing journey is much needed and appreciated more than words can ever express❤️‍🩹From getting to create new fun hair styles for some heartfelt clients donating their hair to helping these kids with cancer to alopecia have some hope and feel some confidence again really does help heal from the inside out. Sara “Sparky” Parkinson
is an old-school cowgirl with deep roots in Orange County, California. Raised in Silverado canyon she comes from a family with a rich ranching history, owning cattle that grazed the hills of Silverado & Trabuco Canyon. Sparky also assisted other local OC Ranchers from the Canyons into San Juan Capistrano. Horses and the western way of life have been at the heart of her journey for more than 40 years.

A proud resident of San Juan Capistrano for over two decades, Sparky is the devoted mother of two amazing children and has built her life around family, faith, hard work, and service to others. Sparky is also proud member of the San Juan Capistrano Chamber of Commerce, The San Juan Capistrano Fiesta Association, The Elks Lodge and Moose lodge member.

As a dual-licensed barber and cosmetologist with more than 30 years of experience, Sparky has dedicated her career to helping people look and feel their best. She works Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at Last Call Lounge, connected to the historic Swallows Inn Saloon in San Juan Capistrano.
�In addition to her salon work, Sparky owns Hairway to Heaven, a compassionate outreach haircare business that serves cancer patients, individuals facing illness or hardship, veterans, and those in need.
Every Friday—and often throughout the weekend—she donates her time and talents to provide comfort, confidence, and dignity through professional hair services.

Supporting America’s military is a cause close to Sparky’s heart. Many of her family members and closest friends are active-duty service members or retired veterans. Inspired by their sacrifice and dedication, she remains committed to giving back by helping veterans look and live their best lives while honoring those who have served our country.

Whether she’s behind the barber chair, caring for someone in need, or spending time with horses and the western lifestyle she loves, Sparky lives by the values of compassion, integrity, and service.

She believes that a simple act of kindness can make a lasting difference and strives every day to leave people feeling better than when they arrived
