Skin Prep Matters!!!

1. Clean it up! Even a face that appears clean can have surface dirt, oil, dead-skin and residual makeup. Don’t assume, clean it up!
2. Mind the moisture. Remember to asses the moisture in your client’s skin before and after cleansing. Too much oil or dryness is sure to affect the outcome of your service. Either extreme can cause unnecessary discomfort for your client or potential injury to the skin. So, mind the moisture!
3. Map it out. Plan your approach. Most of us have a natural flow when performing our services. However, each client is unique. Make mental notes about bone structure, skintags, or asymmetry. Visualize (or draw) your wax pattern, brow map, or lash map. Trust me, this tip will save you money and time. Map it out!!
