Hello all! I am doing pretty good today. I have an update here for you in the flavor of spring!

I have been slowly getting the feeling back throughout my lower body, which is great! What my focus is now is on the weakness. I am feeling so much weaker because I have access to more muscles. I am glad to know I can feel all these muscles now! It's a very strange sensation feeling the back of your legs after sitting down for a while, where you haven't felt those muscles in over a year! But they are there! Hello, legs! Well, I'll be fighting through the weakness in the coming months. Something that is going to mean hard work. I will be checking in with one of my dear friends to take advantage of some training sessions I have at the gym. That will be the next update I share as we step into next week! I am looking forward to sharing that update. In the meantime, thank you for all your loving support! Missing the dance today. 😔

Ok. So I have a cold. One of my doctors told me that "the only concern I have to be careful of is catching a cold". F@ #%! My husband has been wrestling with it for a bit and tried hard not to give it to me...but I got it. I took a covid test to make sure I don't have covid and it was negative. That's good. It would be bad if i got covid. So I'm doing the I've got a cold thing. Rest, liquids and all that. It's a chest cough cold, so we just need to make sure we monitor it since my immune system is on the mend and we dont want it to progress into pneumonia. It's not too bad so far. I'm getting some writing done, that's a good thing. I'm working on a really cool sci-fi idea...cough cough. I'll keep everyone updated. Happy Good Friday!

Hello friends. Today is a rough one. I have my days where my system struggles with recovering as the nerves and muscles work to heal the communication pathways. Its hard sometimes to balance the regular pains that come with stregthening muscles and the so unusual pain that is the muscle and nerve pain that comes with Gillian-Barre Syndrom recovery. That added to pushing through the weakness without pushing too hard and having to take days off to rest so the body can recover. I am going to say it again, this is a hard journey! I'm going to rest today. No glamor posts today! Too dang tired.

Found the year. This was 2008! WOW! Like I said, it feels like it was yesterday. We were everywhere dancing like crazy!

This was the first rendition of the dance troupe. My goodness. How long ago was this? We had great times and I miss my dance soul sister. Do any of you remember this performance? It feels like it was yesterday.
