We’re so pleased and thrilled to welcome Ben to the Elevate team!

Ben is a third-year Cal Poly Division 1 student-athlete, pursuing his Bachelor’s in Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise Science. He’s also a member of the Hong Kong Athletics Team and has nearly a decade of experience competing in hurdle races.

With a strong background in kinesiology, hands-on massage therapy skills, and athletic experience, Ben is passionate about helping others recover from injuries, improve their physical condition, and perform at their best.

Outside of work and training, Ben loves the outdoors and recently picked up bouldering, drawn to its connection to biomechanics and movement science. His mindset is both studious and adventurous, and he brings that energy into everything he does.

The Elevate Team is growing! Meet Kenna — Our Newest Apprentice Massage Therapist!
Kenna is a graduate student at Cal Poly, where she’s earning her Master’s in Sports Nutrition with a concentration in Applied Nutrition and a minor in Spanish. She is a lifelong athlete and president of the Cal Poly Club Beach Volleyball Team, she brings an experienced understanding of the physical demands of performance and recovery!

Her passion for wellness led her to study both nutrition and manual therapy, giving her a well-rounded approach to supporting the body’s natural healing process. Kenna believes in the power of combining massage and nutrition to enhance recovery, boost performance, and promote long-term well-being.

Outside of academics, she enjoys running, weightlifting, mountain biking, and snowboarding. She’s also currently researching the metabolic effects of wild blueberries on runners.

We met Kenna back in July of 2024, and she’s been training with the Elevate squad ever since. It didn’t take long to recognize that she’d be an excellent addition to the team. After completing massage therapy school this year, she’s been learning hands-on alongside Mike and Devon. We’re excited to share that she’s now available for booking! Cheers!

We are so delighted to introduce Elevate’s newest massage therapist, Sophia Minnite! Sophia is a fellow Mustang studying Kinesiology at Cal Poly and is also a student-athlete on the Women’s Cal Poly Soccer Team. Sophia is interested in holistic health and wellness & after she was introduced to our practice at Elevate, Sophia was motivated to become a part of it. Fast forward to today, Sophia has completed her massage practitioner certification and has been diligently working alongside Devon and Mike week in and week out honing in on her skills!

Bittersweet send off to this stud! We have been getting after it since 2022! I remember our first week of training and telling “he’s got IT”. Showing up early, staying late, his eagerness to continue to come in ontop of his training demands with the Cal Poly Soccer Team. He did everything I asked for and more. Been such a pleasure working with you, watching you grow (literally ha), and witnessing all your hard work pay off!
