August was a long one. My husband had a very intense surgery, his first of two & the next one will be in a few weeks. Navigating our new recovery situation has been tricky. But gets easier every day. Managed to still find time to spend with the homies in between work & caretaking duties. I also can’t thank everyone enough for reaching out to check on us, bringing us food or just coming over to keep us company while we’re essentially bound to the house. This community is so beautiful & I’m beyond grateful to have such an amazing support system ♡(╥ᴗ╥)♡

I made these Dolly Parton cakes a few years ago. As soon as she released her box cake mixes I went out & bought them immediately. I’ll be listening to her music today, as I’m sure we all are. I was fortunate enough to see her perform live a few years ago & it was probably the best show of my life. Rest easy, sweet Dolly💖

Well my only real “new years resolution” was to post more on my instagram grid & I’ve already failed miserably at that. But hey, IM JUST A GIRL! At least I’m busy making the brows. I posted probably less than once a month but that’s show biz, baby! I won’t bore you with everything I want to say. But this year humbled my ass. Peaks & valleys a plenty. Regardless of it all, I’m filled with extreme gratitude that I get to do this for my career. I love my clients so much, ya’ll real ones. Here’s to optimistic nihilism that 2026 just might be less gnarly for all of us in the service industry ☺︎
