I currently work at Bluebird Salon in San Luis Obispo, as well as Play Hair Lounge in the Los Angeles area. The past 10 years I've had the privilege of working alongside some exceptionally talented artists and have shown my work in photo shoots, music videos and fashion shows (Guess, Billabong and Los Angeles Fashion Week to name a few). I grew up in southern california as a tomboy for most of my youth. But I also had a sweet softer side, too. Growing up I had fun playing with different hair styles, which came pretty easy to me. And if they were tricky I was pretty determined to figure out how to do them, and perfect them. So braids, curling, and up do's were really fun for me. I had always liked the idea of becoming a hair stylist, but was never fully decided until our High School Prom came along, there was something that clicked for me. I absolutely loved doing my friends hair and makeup! That little spark turned into a love, which has turned into a career. A career that I am extremely passionate about. Honestly, I love having the opportunity to make brides look and feel gorgeous on their wedding day. It is incredibly rewarding. There is so much excitement and love in the air! My favorite part is when you watch a bride walk down the aisle to get married to her best friend, there is just nothing sweeter. I feel so blessed to be a part of it. I am so thankful to have a job doing something I love, every day!
