I love my tools!!! My most frequently used ones are my sidekick scraping tool, and my cups! They both have their own perks, and when used properly, these things can make a world of difference. I use these modalities at my description, and no matter what I use during our session, my price is the same. I am after the results, and my clients seem to love that!

Do you keep tension in your darn, pesky traps?! Most people are guilty of unconsciously shrugging or bringing their shoulders up towards their ears. Believe it or not, often times strengthening your traps or balancing your upper and lower traps can help alleviate this tightness. Good old bodywork every once in a while is nice too!

Gotta keep your tibbies (tibia) and fibbies (fibula) moving! My ankles have always been my weakest joint, and I have found some strength by doing work on the front of my lower leg really balances the strong calf/achilles counterparts. Doing these straight up and down like a gas peddle can be just as challenging, and really fires up the good old Tibialis anterior. In this video I add in a little turn of the ankle getting into supination and pronation movements for a great warm up of the
joint.

Touchdowns are a MUST for me, these limber up my stiff angles, stabilize my hips for impact, and warm up my knee joints! I chose to do these today with a stick in my hand so that I didn’t rush through them, Im all about meeting my body where it is on the day. I did these before my run and they really got my body focused on single leg movements.

The shoulder blade aka the scapula is often times the bullseye of many of my clients discomfort. Seventeen muscles interact with the scapula, no wonder there can be so many sensations, imbalances, weaknesses, and even injuries around this area. In these photos you can see a progression of warming techniques used before I manipulate and move the bone to free up any restricted regions. Move your shoulder blades in all directions on purpose, and strengthen the muscles that feel tight with active contractions, often times these are just dormant and stiff!

Fast food is not the only option when you’re in a time crunch or on the road! I had this poke bowl and a smoothie for lunch/snack through my day of massage. BOYYYY let me tell you, my body is much happier at the end of the day and my stomach especially! I love eating colorful foods and listening to my energy levels while I take care of others is important to keep me going with calories!
