Due to the projected severity of the weather, Thursday’s May 22nd Fundraiser at The Sagamore Cape Cod, for Captain’s Restaurant, has been rescheduled.

2025 Cape Cod's Community's Choice Awards Voting Ballot Vote for the top nominees in each category and be entered to win a gift card!

The loss of Captains Seafood Bar and Grill in Sunday's fire is felt by our entire community. A favorite dining spot for many locals and tourists alike, Captains is stitched into the fabric of Sandwich. As we have done in the past, we will be holding a fundraising raffle to benefit the staff of Captains, who have all suddenly found themselves unemployed a month before the summer season.
In the past, many other businesses in town have donated prizes, and we have raised thousands and thousands of dollars to support our neighbors in a time of need. I'm going to open the raffle with a basket of delicious Italian food and wine from my store. As more prizes come in, I will post. There will be a grand prize, and an as yet unknown number of smaller prizes.
Ticket sales will start in store Tuesday, May 6th. Tickets are $5 each, 5 tickets for $20, 30 tickets for $100, or 175 tickets for $500.
If you can't get to the store, you can get tickets via Venmo -whynot-1 Please do not mark it as a purchase, because Venmo then takes a fee out of the amount. We will fill out your tickets and put them in for the drawing.
Drawing will be, tentatively May 24th.
