Important Update to Our Rescheduling Policy

Hello Beautiful,

I wanted to personally reach out and share an important update to our booking policies at Sphynx Wax Studio.

Over the past several months, I've seen a significant increase in appointment cancellations and reschedules. While I completely understand that life happens and unexpected situations come up, frequent schedule changes can leave appointment times unfilled and make it difficult to serve other clients who are waiting for availability.

To help protect the business and maintain a smooth schedule for everyone, a new policy will take effect immediately:

• If you reschedule a pre-booked appointment, a new deposit will be required to secure your new appointment date and time.
• If you cancel an appointment and choose to rebook, a new deposit will also be required to reserve your next visit.
• All deposits remain non-refundable and are applied toward your scheduled service as outlined in our booking policies.

Please know that this change is not personal and is being implemented across the board for all clients. As a small business owner, I have to protect the time reserved on my schedule and ensure that appointment availability remains fair and consistent for everyone.

I truly appreciate your understanding, support, and loyalty. Because of clients like you, Sphynx Wax Studio continues to grow, and I am committed to providing you with the best experience possible every time you visit.

First things first, if you have an appointment with me this weekend, I am SO excited to see you this Saturday, and your appointment is locked in and ready to go!

So last weekend they were supposed to to shut down 285 but it's got pushed back to this weekend.

Before you hit the road, I want to give you a heads-up about some major road closures happening this weekend that could affect your commute to Sphynx Wax Studio (6690 Roswell Rd, Suite 404 #6, Sandy Springs, GA 30328).

🚨 WHAT'S HAPPENING:
GDOT has shut down I-285 WESTSIDE in BOTH directions this entire weekend:
• I-285 Northbound & Southbound — FULLY CLOSED between:
→ Exit 7: Cascade Road
→ Exit 9: Martin Luther King Jr. Drive

This is a FULL closure — zero traffic gets through that stretch. So if you're coming from South Fulton, please don't attempt I-285 this weekend!

⚠️ ALSO EXPECT HEAVY TRAFFIC ON:
• I-75 / I-85 (the Downtown Connector) — will have heavier traffic than usual as detour traffic funnels through
• I-20 — expect backups as it's one of the main detour routes
• Langford Parkway — also a designated detour road, anticipate slowdowns
• Local surface streets in Southwest Atlanta — side streets and back roads will be congested too as people look for shortcuts

🗺️ RECOMMENDED ROUTE — FROM SOUTH FULTON TO SANDY SPRINGS:
Skip I-285 entirely and try this instead:

✅ OPTION 1 (Recommended by GDOT):
Take I-20 East → Merge onto I-75/I-85 North (Downtown Connector) → Continue North on I-75 → Take Exit 256 for Northside Dr/Roswell Rd → Head north on Roswell Rd to 6690 Roswell Rd, Sandy Springs
➡️ Note: I-75/85 will be busier than normal, so please build in extra time!

✅ OPTION 2 (Surface Road Alternative):
Take Campbellton Rd → Donald Lee Hollowell Pkwy East → Connect to I-75 North → Exit at Northside Dr/Roswell Rd → North on Roswell Rd to your destination

✅ OPTION 3 (Avoid the highways altogether):
Head north on Cascade Rd → Take Powers Ferry Rd toward Sandy Springs → Connect to Roswell Rd heading north to 6690 Roswell Rd

• Leave at least 30–45 minutes earlier than usual
• Check Google Maps or Waze right before you leave for real-time traffic updates
