Still dealing with pain even though you've been told everything looks fine?! Tell me if this sounds familiar.
A client I saw this morning, she’s 66, recovering from a left total hip replacement, and she wants to get back to her active lifestyle. But even though she was doing everything right, she was still having numbness, spasms, hip tension, pain through the front of her leg and outer hip, and she was walking with a slight limp. She could not even get through a half-mile walk comfortably.
Her doctor was happy with the recovery. Her PT had graduated her, but said the biggest challenge was that her brain was not communicating well with the artificial hip.

She did not hesitate. When I assessed her, I muscle tested both hips, her core, and her rotation patterns, while staying within her doctor’s restrictions.
What I found was exactly what her PT said, no communication from her brain to her body.
At the center, is the pelvic floor, and that was the connection her body desperately needed.
So I showed her how to do a simple reset, retested everything, and boom, all the muscles came back online Strong.
Her hip felt less tense, the front-of-leg pain dropped, and when she walked, she could feel the difference right away. Even her posture improved without effort.

Her back pain wasn’t from aging.
It was coming from a 40-year-old C-section scar.
What if your back pain isn’t really about your back at all?
That is exactly what happened in this case. A woman came in with constant low back pain that had been dismissed, chased, stretched, medicated, and treated from every angle. Nothing lasted. Imaging showed nothing significant. But her body told a different story. The real issue was not in her lumbar spine. It was in a C-section scar that had been quietly disrupting her core for decades.
We both laughed when she said,
“I guess it wasn’t just old age.”
No ma’am. It wasn’t.
This is why I say the body keeps score in ways most people never get told about.
