The body is so tight and tense it and will create resistance and fight against the traditional deep tissue massage. My massage therapy is focused on healing and energy work. I teach my clients how to relax, first by doing breathing techniques of 5 to 10 min at the beginning of the session so I can then combine energy work and massage therapy. The way we breath is ultimately connected with our emotions. Energy work combined with massage therapy can relieve anxiety, depression, and chronic fatigue. It will also increase mental clarity. My work leaves clients feeling happy and relaxed. But most importantly in a strong, mental state to continue on their day.
