Number 1 - I hate watermelon. 🤦🏼‍♀️ I know, I’m crazy right? It’s just not my thing! I don’t know if it’s the texture or if it’s the taste. Hey, more for everyone else right? •

Number 2 - I have one son! He was born in January and he has my whole heart! He was adopted, but he is my own. ❤️ •

Number 3 - I have a HUGE passion for sharing the raw and the real stuff even if it feels uncomfortable! I believe that vulnerability helps connect us to other people, and I love that. •

Number 4 - I have been a hairstylist for four years. I have a deep love for the creative side and for the relationships I have with my clients. •
•

Slippin’ off the quarantine mask for a quick photoshoot. (No worries babes, thanks to my camera lens we kept the six feet distance.) 😂 •

It will be fun one day to have things back to semi normal! 🙏🏼 I’m grateful for the precautions, and on the other hand, this girl hates wearing a mask for 10 hours straight. 😷 🤦🏼‍♀️•

Celebrating all the “mothers” out there today. The moms, grandmoms, dog moms, cat moms, future moms, moms in waiting, moms that have lost a baby, adoptive moms, moms who just can’t wait to be moms, hopeful adoptive moms, birth moms, foster moms, step moms, woman that don’t want to have their own kids but definitely have the qualities of a mom, that one friends mom thats like your mom. Today we celebrate you! •

I am sure I’m missing a few, but today should be celebrated! You are all so special! I am happy to say that I have the privilege of knowing so many of you, the proof is on my Instagram feed. So many beautiful woman inside and out! •

What am I doing instead of hair? Hanging with these two little bugs, and adjusting the best we can!•

I believing admitting that this quarantine has been hard is good for all of us! It give us power to see that things can sometimes be difficult. That we can do hard things and get through them! It’s hard for those of us that haven’t been able to work, it’s hard for the senior that missed her prom, the girl who was graduating college this semester, but isn’t able to walk. It’s hard in our own way. We are all valid in feeling that way! •
•
It’s okay to say times are tough in different ways for all of us. I believe walking out of something hard creates a greater ability for us to appreciate it when it’s over. •
•
I cannot wait to see all of you, and your hair. You keep me level, same, and full of laughs. More grateful than ever for all of my clients!

Guys, I seriously CANNOT wait to get back into the salon. I’m rocking the SAHM life right now, and I love it! But! I miss you guys, and your hair. •

It’s looking like May will hopefully be our month to get back into the salon. 🤞🏼 Finger crosses.

How are you guys holding up? It still feels a little weird over here...let’s get real, for me, this year has already been a whirlwind of changes before this pandemic came along. I felt like I was finally getting the course down and WHOA life hit me (and the rest of the world) right in the face! •
•
Trying to navigate this at home experience with my family has been challenging and rewarding at the same time! Rescheduling my clients and finding creative ways to make income has also been challenging. (We haven’t resorted to selling socks on the internet yet 😂). •
•
The truth is, in one way or another this happens all the time. Maybe the world isn’t faced with a pandemic everyday, but we do have our hardships. Luckily for us, I believe that they truly still have a bright side and in some way or another they make us stronger, more creative, and these moments help us recognize to be grateful always. •
•
Here’s to a few weeks of more family time and less hair. PS-thank you to all of my clients who have been extremely flexible, understanding, and supportive of my business during this time. I love you. I miss you. I appreciate all of you, and I can’t wait to get back into the salon.
