The Swedish Häxa

I waited last night while watching for the soon to be full moon to make its appearance. Equally watching my volunteer evening primrose to open the flowers that only open during the transition from day to night. And right before the moon rose over the mountains, there were the enchanting golden flowers brilliant yellow in the twillight. These flowers have amazing energy and bring lovely medicine wherever they go.

There are some who take the time to prepare themselves to meet this plant being... standing in the twilight last night, sharing a moment with the plant, I could see why. 🌿✨️

Good morning! The miniature daffodils and vinca are blooming, and what a beautiful sight they are. ❤️

Daffodils are hardy flowers that pop up at the first sign of longer sunlight days. They symbolize rebirth, hope, and new beginnings and are associated with positive change since we see them at the time that spring is beginning to show and all of the feelings of warmth and hope begin to flood not only into the earth but into us also.

Vinca or Periwinkle is a symbol of love, purity, protection, and spirituality. They symbolize enduring love and honoring love. Which anyone knows who has been in a relationship, it takes effort and energy to preserve the love you have between you and keep it pure.

These two blooming together, other than being a favorable omen for the married couple that lives in this home, show the beauty of the faithful marriage between the feminine and fertile earth and the masculine and energy bringing sun.🌞 ❤️ 🌎

I came across some flowering rosemary in a shop recently. You have to know that I hit the brakes 🛑whenever I see live rosemary. 😍

To me, this plant is sacred... I run my fingers through it and inhale its aroma deeply.👃🪄 Rosemary is a scent that my mind and brain will never get enough of.

Rosemary blesses our minds with clarity and the ability to make sense of our experiences, thus gaining wisdom in the process. Mood booster, intuition opener, anti-inflammatory healing, reduces mental fatigue and anxiety...the list goes on and on. ❤️

I have always been so enchanted by the beauty of beets. 😍 The vibrant red to purple shades in a kaleidoscope of colors. They are earthy and grounding as well as they are also a beautiful tonic for the heart and bones. So mineral rich, they nourish us to our core. Which is excellent to have thru the winter. Not only that, when powdered, they can easily be mixed into a chocolate cake for a luscious aphrodisiac effect. Yum 😋
