CROWN CHAKRA is the highest chakra and represents our ability to be fully connected spiritually. Amethyst, know as the meditative stone, is the most associated with the crown chakra. It opens up spiritual awareness and protects against negative energies. Amethyst has always been my first choice when balancing/healing my crown chakra, but I also use crystal quartz on occasion.
LOCATION: The very top of the head.

THIRD EYE CHAKRA assists our ability to see and focus on the big picture. Purple fluorite brings logical thinking and intuition together. When your third eye chakra is in balance, you mind can full open and move away from false illusions.
LOCATION: On the forehead, in between the eyes.

THROAT CHAKRA helps your ability to communicate. Lapis lazuli is great for expanding your awareness. It brings mental clarity and consciousness with is needed to communicate effectively with others. Another stone used to open the throat chakra is turquoise.
LOCATION: On the throat.

HEART CHAKRA deals with the ability to love. Although the color associated with your heart chakra is green, that doesn't mean the crystal or stone used to open up and heal the chakra needs to be green (this applies to every chakra). Rose quartz is a comforting crystal that can help you heal and inspire self love. Once this happens, your mind and body becomes more receptive to love and the many other joys in life.
LOCATION: Center of the chest, just above the heart.

SOLAR PLEXUS CHAKRA assists the ability to feel confident and in control of our lives. Malachite links the solar plexus to the heart. This promotes the compassion you need to ensure that your personal power is present and helps you establish self confidence.
LOCATION: Upper abdomen, in the stomach area.

SACRAL CHAKRA is about connection and the ability to accept other people and new experiences. My crystal preference is citrine, I also use rutilated quartz on occasion. Citrine encourages the openness your mind needs during emotional instability, especially within relationships. This gives you the ability to have better communication and emotional relationships with others.
LOCATION: Lower abdomen, about 2 inches below the navel.

ROOT CHAKRA represents our foundation and the feeling of being grounded. My favorite crystal for my root chakra is smoky quartz (this photo happens to be a crystal from my personal collection). The smoky quartz is a grounding crystal - it helps you to focus on the present moment. Very useful stone for getting rid of negative energy and emotional blockage.

LOCATION: Base of the spine near the tailbone.

The 7 Chakras for Beginners 07/11/2017

I have read so much information on the 7 chakras, but only recently started putting time and effort into making myself aware of my chakras and learning how to keep them all in balance. This was one of the first articles I ever read about it and it was a great place to start!

Once I made the choice of making crystals a big part of my life and home, I couldn't keep them to myself. Because of their positive energy and exquisite beauty, I decided to create a place where I could share that with others. Crystals can be used in many ways/forms. Holding/placing them on the body during meditation or yoga and using them to bring positive energy to my home through decor are my favorite ways to assimilate them into my life. Other ways include making a crystal grid, wearing them as jewelry, or incorporating them into your beauty routine. The possibilities are endless!

I choose the stones because of meaning, vibes and beauty (of course)! I hope that I can help you find the perfect addition to your existing collection or the ideal crystal to start you on your healing journey.

If the crystal you love has already found a home, I may have a similar crystal I can offer OR you can always check out my favorite Etsy shop AND sister company, AURAMORE. (Link here https://www.etsy.com/shop/AURAMORE).

Amethyst is a type of quartz, but with deep purple tips. It is a calming and healing stone. Widely known for its meditative and calming properties - it works with your emotional side to bring balance and peace.

Something I recently learned about Amethyst is it being used as a "sobriety stone". It was and still is being used to prevent drunkenness and to help overcome/prevent addictions of all kinds!

10 Crystals That Will Make You Healthier & Happier 07/05/2017

#8 Citrine - My favorite from the list! I have these all over my bedroom at home. I always incorporate them into my personal meditation and yoga practice in the morning. They bring so much peace and positivity! ♡

"Citrine is a crystal of light and happiness. It doesn't hold any negative energy and emits large amounts of positive energy. It serves as a friendly reminder to be present and in the now, because in this moment, you can create miracles. Citrine is a manifestation stone that encourages you to dream big, maintain a positive state of mind and attract everything you want in your life."
